Dyson guide 2026: the range, the prices and which model to choose

Dyson makes some of the most carefully engineered, and most expensive, products in cleaning, hair care and indoor air. The range is large enough that it is easy to get lost in, and the price gap between the entry model and the top model can run to several thousand kroner. This guide gives you a structured overview of the whole Dyson line-up in Norway in 2026, what actually separates the models, and which one to choose for your needs and budget.
Dyson’s three product families

How to choose the right Dyson
Before you look at individual models, ask yourself three questions:
- How large is your home? For a flat or a smaller home, the entry models (V8, Supersonic Origin) go a long way. For a house with several floors and carpets, the top models pay off on battery life and suction.
- Do you have allergies or pets? Then HEPA filtration and laser detection (V12/V15) are worth the extra cost, and an air purifier can matter as much as the vacuum.
- How often will the product be used? A hair care product you use daily justifies a higher price than one you bring out for a party. Work out the cost per use, not just the purchase price.

Is a Dyson worth it?
Dyson is rarely the cheapest, but the durability and the experience of using one are what people pay for. A cordless Dyson vacuum tends to last 5 to 10 years, the batteries can be replaced, and spare parts are easy to get hold of. If you are weighing up a cheaper alternative, compare on suction (air watts), battery life and filter type, not just on price. On hair care the main argument is reduced heat damage: the Airwrap and the Supersonic style at a lower temperature than traditional tools.

- Do I get cashback on Dyson?
- Yes, when you start the purchase via Sparebørsen. Dyson is sold both in its own online shop and through several retailers, and the rate can vary between them. Check the current rate on the partner page before you click through; that is the one stamped on your purchase.
- Does cashback apply to every Dyson model?
- As a rule it applies to the whole range at the retailer in question: vacuums, hair care and air purifiers. Some shops exclude campaign items or bundles from commission, and then the cashback falls away. The terms on the partner page say what applies at that particular shop.
- Can I combine cashback with Dyson campaigns?
