Terms of use

1. About the service

Sparebørsen is a cashback platform that gives you money back when you shop with our partner stores via links on spareborsen.no or in the Sparebørsen app. The service is free to use.

2. Registration

To use the service you must create an account. You must be at least 18 years old. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.

3. How cashback works

• Cashback is earned when you click an affiliate link via Sparebørsen and complete a qualifying purchase.
• The cashback rate varies between partner stores and may change without notice.
• Confirmation from the partner store can take as long as 90 days.
• Returns and cancelled orders do not earn cashback.
• Cashback is calculated from Sparebørsen's share of the commission from the partner store.

4. Payout

Earned cashback can be paid out to your bank account once the minimum requirements are met. You can also choose to convert cashback to gold via the service.

5. Limitations

• Using ad blockers can prevent tracking, and therefore cashback.
• Cashback is not guaranteed: it depends on the partner store's approval.
• Misuse of the service (fake purchases, self-referral) results in exclusion from the service.

6. Limitation of liability

Sparebørsen is an intermediary between you and the online stores. We are not responsible for products, deliveries or disputes with the stores. Cashback amounts are estimates and may differ from the final payout.

7. Changes

We may change these terms with 30 days' notice by email or in the app. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

8. Sparebørsen for Business (merchant subscription)

Sections 8.1 to 8.6 below apply if you subscribe to Sparebørsen for Business as a merchant (store, online store or service provider) via spareborsen.no/for-bedrifter. They apply in addition to sections 1 to 7 above.

8.1 Subscription and trial period

All new merchant accounts get a 14-day free trial with no upfront payment. After the trial you must choose a paid plan (Starter or Vekst) to continue using the service. See pricing for all plans. The subscription renews automatically every month (or every year if selected) until you cancel.

8.2 Billing and merchant of record

Billing and payment processing are handled by Paddle.com Inc. as “Merchant of Record”. Paddle handles card details, Norwegian VAT (25 %) and EU VAT on our behalf. Mosel AS delivers the service but never receives card details directly. You accept Paddle's buyer terms in addition to ours.

8.3 Commission (2 %)

In addition to the monthly price, a commission of 2 % of the sales amount is charged for customer transactions registered through our platform (tracking script, Shopify integration, Zettle integration or manual reporting). The commission accumulates and is invoiced together with the monthly price.

8.4 Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel the subscription at any time from your merchant dashboard under “Billing”. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. The full refund policy is described at spareborsen.no/refusjon.

8.5 Data processing

When you use Sparebørsen for Business, we process customer data (email, phone, transaction data) on your behalf in order to deliver the cashback service. Mosel AS acts as data processor and you as data controller. We never store more data than necessary and do not share customer data with other merchants. See the privacy policy for details.

8.6 Liability and SLA

The platform is provided “as is” without explicit uptime guarantees beyond what is specified in the plan SLA. Enterprise customers receive a separate written SLA. For the Starter and Vekst plans we commit to reasonable measures for uptime and to support within a reasonable time. Liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the last 12 months.
