Confirm your student status
Use a student email (a stud. or student. address at a Norwegian institution, ending in .no) and confirm via the link you receive by email, or upload a student ID (jpg, png, webp or pdf, max 5 MB) for manual review.

As soon as your status is confirmed, you automatically get the higher rate on everything you buy through Sparebørsen, for 12 months.
Frequently asked questions about Sparebørsen Student
Who qualifies for Sparebørsen Student?
Anyone who can show they are a student, either with a student email from a Norwegian institution (a stud. or student. address ending in .no, e.g. ola@stud.uio.no) or with a student ID you upload yourself.
How long does student status last?
Student status lasts 12 months from approval. You get a reminder well before it expires, and can renew it the same way as the first time.
What happens to the student ID I upload?
The document is reviewed manually by Sparebørsen and deleted as soon as the application has been processed, approved or rejected. We never keep it longer than it takes to review, and the review takes a maximum of 90 days.
Can I combine Sparebørsen Student with the Christmas campaign's 95%?
Yes. The two rates are not added together; you always get the higher rate. Through 2026, the student rate is 100%, which is higher than the Christmas campaign's 95%, so as a student you get 100%.
Does the student rate apply at all stores?
At every partner that pays cashback, yes. A small number of programmes have no cashback (0%) to begin with, and student status does not change that.
What happens if I misuse the scheme?
Student status can be revoked if we discover misuse, such as fake documents or a student email that is not yours. The normal rate then applies again, and previously approved cashback from purchases you actually made is unaffected.
Does it cost anything to become a student member?
No. Student status is free and only requires confirmation; you pay exactly the same price in the store as everyone else, you just get a higher share of the commission back.
