Revolut payouts are here: your money in seconds, the way you want it
Our payout system is fully built and thoroughly tested. You choose: a payout link with Revolut or a bank account, or connect your Revolut account once and have future withdrawals sent straight to you, in seconds.
Today we are launching the last part of our new payout system. From now on you can connect your Revolut account to Sparebørsen once, and have every future withdrawal sent straight to your account, in seconds, with no emails and no steps in between. Every part of the system has been tested with real payouts before launch.
Three ways to get your money
- Straight to Revolut (new). Connect your Revtag under My balance once. After that, every withdrawal goes straight to your Revolut account, normally arriving within seconds.
- Payout link with Revolut. Without a connection you get a personal link by email with each withdrawal. If you choose Revolut in that link, the money arrives within seconds.
- Payout link to a bank account. The same link also lets you choose an ordinary Norwegian bank account, in which case the transfer takes 1 to 3 business days, like any bank payment.
The minimum is still 100 kr of available balance, and withdrawals cost nothing.
Why this matters
Most cashback services pay out in fixed rounds, often once a month, and only to a bank account. We have built the withdrawal step the other way round: once your cashback is approved it is yours, and then you should not have to wait for a payout date. You ask for the money when you want it, and with Revolut it has arrived before you have closed the tab.
The security behind it
Every Sparebørsen user is verified with Vipps, and that name is the anchor for the whole payout system. If you connect Revolut, the connection is accepted only if the Revolut account is registered to the same name we have on file, so connecting somebody else's account is technically impossible. The payout links are personal, name matched and expire after 7 days; if a link expires unused, the amount goes back into your balance automatically.
How to connect Revolut
- Log in and go to My balance.
- Find the Revolut section and enter your Revtag (your username in the Revolut app, for example @name).
- That is all. Your next withdrawal goes straight to your Revolut account.
You can disconnect again whenever you like, and future withdrawals then go back to the payout link.
