Avalon Arrow String Dacron Tyro (Bow length: 54")

Om Avalon Arrow String Dacron Tyro (Bow length: 54")

Avalon Bowstring — Dacron TyroA durable and reliable bowstring made from classic Dacron material, perfect for archers seeking long-lasting performance and dependable use. The Dacron Tyro string is built with 12 strands, offering an ideal balance of stretch, forgiveness, and durability — making it especially suitable for traditional archery setups where a slightly more forgiving string is preferred. Each string is carefully constructed and designed to perform best when properly twisted and maintained. All listed measurements apply to strings that have been twisted 15–20 turns or more — an important detail, since an untwisted string wears out much faster. Twisting keeps the strands bound together, reducing wear and ensuring consistent arrow release.BenefitsMaterial: Dacron — flexible, tough, and time-testedConstruction: 12 strands for stability and even performanceTwist optimized: Measurements given with 15–20 twists appliedDurability: Proper twisting and maintenance reduces wear and extends lifespanRecommendationsAlways twist the string to 15–20 turns before use.Regularly check the condition of the string — shifting strands may signal the need for retwisting or replacement. An untwisted or poorly mounted string will reduce lifespan and negatively affect shooting performance.A simple yet well-crafted bowstring for archers who value reliability and the classic feel of Dacron in their gear.
