Hultafors Premium Hult Splitting Axe

Om Hultafors Premium Hult Splitting Axe

This is a solid splitting axe, intended for heavier duties such as splitting logs and wood. The shape of the head, combined with slightly convex grinding, splits the wood. The Hult axe has a long and straight handle made from hickory, to gain maximum speed and control when splitting logs. The axe is hand forged and made from Swedish quality steel. As part of the head-forging process, the steel axe head is struck 40-60 times, thereby increasing its density and resulting in great durability. The name of this axe has its origin in Hult, where Hults Bruk was founded.Slightly convex grindingThe edge is sharpened, polished and ready to useLeather axe sheath includedThe Hults Bruk story begins in 1697, hand-forging steel and iron with water-driven hammers. Over the last three centuries, Hults Bruk has perfected the art of designing and manufacturing premium Swedish axes. Today, the factory is a compelling combination of the new and the old, where the underlying culture of exquisite Swedish ironworking endures. Hults Bruk axes are made for a lifetime of use - camping, backpacking, bushcrafting, hunting or performing forestry work. Find the perfect axe, care for it, and you will be passing it on to your son or daughter, and to their sons and daughters
